Description:
Booking.com requires two specific configurations in order for upsell emails to function correctly:
The email sender must be enabled.
The relevant links/URLs must be whitelisted.
Our platform automatically triggers this alert if either the send rate or the click rate drops below 10%. This typically indicates that the Booking.com configuration has not been fully completed.
If the setup is incomplete:
Emails may not be delivered to guests.
Guests may receive the email but be unable to click on links.
Your upselling performance and revenue potential will be severely impacted.
Since Booking.com reservations often represent a significant share of total bookings, resolving this issue is critical.
There are two separate settings that must be completed inside Booking.com:
Enable the email sender
Whitelist the links/URLs
Both are mandatory for the integration to work properly.
Use performance data to identify the likely cause:
High open rate + zero click rate → URLs are not whitelisted.
Low open rate (below ~10%) → Email sender is not enabled.
The system alert is triggered when performance falls below a 10% threshold.
