The Dashboard:

The UpsellGuru Operational Dashboard provides a comprehensive view of your upsell performance. Here's what you can expect:
  • Overview of metrics for the month, past month, and year.
  • Key metrics include upsells received, accepted, denied, and pending, alongside daily revenue numbers.
  • Detailed insights into upcoming arrivals and the status of upsell offers.

Actioning an Offer (Step by Step):

  1. Upon receiving an upgrade offer, you'll receive an email notification
  2. Navigate to the Dashboard and check the Pending column. Click to open up the requests.
  3. Click on the guest profile to review the offer details.
  4. From the guest profile screen, use the green "tick" button to accept an offer or the orange "cross" button to deny it.
  5. Optionally, use the Auto-Pilot feature for automated acceptance based on pre-set criteria.
  6. If accepting an offer, the room type and upsell amount are automatically updated in a 2-way interface. For a 1-way interface, manual updates are required.
  7. The guest receives instant confirmation of the acceptance or rejection of their upgrade request.

  • Accept Offers Early: Maximize room availability and optimize resale by accepting offers promptly.
  • Wait Strategically: If unable to accept initially, delay decisions until closer to arrival to benefit from potential cancellations.
  • Optimize Room Assignments: Reassign other reservations as needed to accommodate accepted offers and maximize profitability.
  • Timely Responses: Avoid letting offers expire to ensure guest satisfaction and maximize revenue potential.
  • Multiple Users: Ensure several team members at your hotel receive upsell notifications to guarantee that no offer is missed.
