Email Variations allows you to send different email templates according to (1) guest segmentation, (2) stay dates and (3) room type booked.
Use cases:
(1). Guest Segmentation: Use a different template for direct bookers and OTA bookers. Use a different template for guests using a specific rate code (e.g. a promotional rate).
(2). Stay Dates: Use a different template for guests staying during specific seasons (e.g. more "festive" email during Christmas).
(3). Room Type Booked: Send a different email to guests in specific rooms (e.g. special message to guests in a Suite).
Below is an example of how the variations summary will appear, with email content differing per template.

Setup:
1. Click on " Variations" for the email template you like to create a variation.
2. Click on " Add Variation" in the overview page.
3. Add a Variation Code (which is anything you can identify the template by).
4. Set your Guest Target Options (see use cases above).
5. Adjust the Look & Feel, or skip to leave the default look & feel.
6. Add the Text Content. The default text is displayed on the right. If no changes are required in specific sections, just leave it blank.
7. Save and Preview.

Email variations or campaigns can be targeted using different guest segmentation to ensure the right message is sent to the right audience. Available targeting options include:

- Reservation Sources
- Specific Email Addresses
- Booked Room Types
- Arrival Date Period
