Setup > Emails

Email content refers to the text in each of the emails sent through UpsellGuru. The content in each Email Template can be changed individually.

1. Find the email you wish to edit the text and click on “Content”. 


2. UpsellGuru provides a default text for each email which can be seen in the preview (right side). If you would like to override the default text, simply enable the override button and enter your custom text on the left side.





Using place holders can be useful to automatically replace the most common information like Hotel Name, Guest Name, Arrival/Departure Days. 


3. Email Texts can be entered in various languages. Just choose the language and select "Add customized text". 




4. Remember to click "Save Changes" to preview your email template.

If required, hotels can customize the email content for Rooms Only and Extras Only emails.

For example, the hotel may highlight key offerings such as a signature spa or popular dining experience in the Extras Only email by overriding the default message with a more tailored version to better promote available extras.

The same applies to the Rooms Only email, where the content can be adjusted to better showcase room upgrades, highlight key room features, and encourage conversion.
